Boyfriend Kills Newly Recruited Army Officer


A fresh recruit into the Nigerian Army, Patience Amos Ya’u, has been found dead in the room of her boyfriend in Damilu, a community in Jimeta, Yola North local government area of Adamawa State.

The 23-year-old Amos is believed to have died following a scuffle between her and her boyfriend, Ali Muhammed Wakil, whose claim to being a military personnel is being doubted.

Teenager accused of raping man at knifepoint & filming part of it


A woman accused of raping a man at knifepoint and filming part of the alleged incident could be spared prison. Lestina Marie Smith was 17 when she allegedly raped a man, then 19, in his car while armed with a steak knife. The man had testified earlier in the case that they had dated for almost two months late last year but broke up after Smith hit him.

Baby discovered in the waste pipe of a tour bus

 
A baby was recently discovered by a cleaning staff of Phitsanulok tour bus while trying to extract sanitary towels and tissues from a waste pipe. The discovery which happened on September 20th put may in shock as two little feet belonging to the fetus of a boy aged about four to five month was discovered.

Fake medical doctor in Calabar defrauds 30 people of N6m

                                          

The Cross River State Police Command has arrested one Peter Bishung for allegedly defrauding over 30 people of more than N6million. It was gathered that Mr. Bishung, who posed as a medical doctor had been hanging around the Ministry of Health headquarters premises at the Michael Ani secretariat in Calabar where he may have gotten wind of information to swindle unsuspecting contractors of cash.

A massive sinkhole swallowed part of a Florida house

                          

On Tuesday, a family in Apopka, Florida — about 30 minutes northwest of Orlando — called 9-1-1 when they noticed a corner of their bathroom was descending into the ground. "I saw big, deep cracks in the bathroom. The tub was sinking and the window was coming loose," homeowner Ellen Miller told local news station WFTV. "I said, 'It's time to go.'"

Keystone Bank staff charged with ‘theft’ of N3m from ATM

                                            

The State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti-Yaba, Lagos on Monday charged a Keystone Bank Plc worker, Mrs. Chinonye Okafoagu, for allegedly stealing N3 million from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). Okafoagu, 33, was arraigned before Chief Magistrate A. O. Salawu of an Ebute-Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court, on a four-count charge of conspiracy, stealing, forgery and false modification of ATM data.

Ifeanyi Dike, the ritual killer who murdered 8-year old Victory Chikamso Nmezuwuba, has been rearrested. Ifeanyi was rearrested in Jos, Plateau State capital, by security operatives on Thursday.

This is really heartbreaking. A woman who burnt a seven year old girl identified as Chidinma with hot knife has been arrested by Anambra State police. According to Emma Oramalu, the woman burnt the little girl with hot knife after severally flogging her and injecting pepper into her private part for eating crayfish and licking sugar. Three kids abandoned as husband, wife were sent to prisons in Lagos

                                 
Three Kids of the same parents have been abandoned in Mushin as their parents have been arrested and remanded in prison custody in Lagos. Their parents, Taofik Aremu and his wife, Latifat, were arraigned before a Lagos Task Force and Magistrate court for committing different offences and have been remanded in prison for the past five weeks.

According to the Star Kenya, on Wednesday, March 29th, the man from Karai started with a razor blade but finished cutting off his joystick with a knife. Screams from his on one-room house attracted members of the public who called police for help.

According to Ali AlAhmed on Twitter, A Kuwaiti woman instead of helping her maid, filmed her as she hung for her life on their window. How she got there was not stated, but she was rescued after she fell down on what seemed like the roof of a lower building.

EFCC arrests herbalist for fraud running into millions

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan zonal office, Oyo State, on Thursday said a herbalist had been arrested by its operatives for falsely obtaining N45m from a victim under the pretext of offering herbal and spiritual healing. A statement from the EFCC Head of Public Affairs in the zone, Ayo Oyewole, said the suspect, Aminat Okiribiti, 34, committed the crime with two other accomplices at large, one of who is said to be her husband.

South Korea's former President Park Geun-hye has been arrested and jailed over high-profile corruption allegations that already ended her tumultuous four-year rule and prompted an election to find her successor. A convoy of vehicles, including a black sedan carrying Park, entered a detention facility near Seoul after the Seoul Central District Court granted prosecutors' request to arrest her.

Man jailed nine years for impregnating 16-year-old daughter

A man, Taiwo Olubayode, has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment with hard labour and without an option of fine by a Family Court sitting at Oke-Eda, Akure, the Ondo State capital. The 56-year-old man was convicted for impregnating his 16-year-old daughter (name withheld) at Oke-Ijebu street, Odode- Idanre in Idanre Local Government Area of the state which is also in the Akure Magisterial District.

Senate committee recommends suspension of Senator Ndume for 6 months

The senate committee on ethics and privileges has suspended its former leader, Ali Ndume for failing to conduct proper investigation before making allegations against the senate president, Bukola Saraki and Dino Melaye. Boy attacked with a razor blade in Delta

                                
According to a report by Sapele Oghenek, the young boy pictured below was sent by his family to his grandpa's place at Majorbowen to help them 'carry' their dog. It was during the process that a boy called Ama attacked him with razor blade.It is unclear why he attacked him. Three students were reported injured in the Monday (27 March) incident in Greater Noida, near the capital New Delhi. Police have arrested seven people in connection with the attack. Nursing home employee secretly records seniors having sex, posts video to Snapchat

A nursing home employee, 20-year-old Alexis Williams, an employee at the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility on 3479 54th Avenue North in unincorporated St. Petersburg in Florida is in police custody Wednesday after detectives say she filmed two senior residents having sex without their knowledge or consent and shared the video with her followers on Snapchat in August of last year.
The victims, who haven’t been identified are an 81-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man.

The headmistress of a primary school at Amaetiti Asaga Ohafia, in Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia State, Mrs. Maryleen Ezichi, has been reportedly demoted to a classroom teacher for allegedly embarrassing the wife of Abia State governor, Nkechi Ikpeazu. Tenant abducts landlady, son to settle N70,000 rent arrears

The police have rescued a landlady and her son who were abducted by her tenant, Michael Obi, to raise money to settle the arrears of rent he was owing the former. The landlady, whose name was not disclosed, was kidnapped in Umuike Allu area of Rivers State while she was on the farm with her son, a student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.

Burglar gets stuck on fence with his trousers down


A suspected thief was reportedly arrested in Tucson, Arizona, on Friday after he was spotted in a rather unusual position: dangling from a fence by his trousers. Witnesses said the hapless fellow had been seen trying to open some doors at Miles Elementary School at around 10.30 on Friday morning. There were no pupils on site at the time due to the school being on holiday.
