Gun used to shoot a US black teenager in 2012 auctioned for $250,000

The pistol that was used to kill a US black teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012 has been sold for $250,000 (£172,000), US media Reports. The gun was put up for auction by George Zimmerman who fired the shot that killed Trayvon but was acquitted by the jury.

According to CBS News Zimmerman said that the auction was successful and had raised fund for worthy causes. He thanked the United Gun group and it's owner for having the 'Moral Fortitude for hosting his firearm auction'.

This has cause a heralding controversy as Activists Described it as Putting a tag on the price to murder black people in the United States Of America.
