Facebook Messenger adds Spotify sharing

Facebook will now allow users to share Spotify music via its Messenger app, the company has said. In what is the latest step in the expansion of the social network’s instant chat platform, Facebook said that the digital music service would be integrated so it is ‘easy for you to let your friends know what music you are loving at any moment.’

Users can click the ‘More’ tab (the three full stops) at the bottom of the app, and then scroll down and open Spotify.
‘Listen up!’ Facebook wrote in a post last week.
‘Spotify is now available for Messenger, meaning you can say “Hello” to your friends…or “Sorry” if needed. We’re making it easy for you to let your friends know what music you are loving at any moment.
