Barack Obama,
the president of the United states is GQ’s man of the year, as he
graces the cover of the magazine a second time in a special 20th
anniversary edition. For the highly regarded
publication, the very warm and friendly national leader, as can be seen
from the cover of the magazine where he wears a big smile in a grey
suit, was interviewed by free agent of the year, ESPN writer and editor,
Bill Simmons.
In the exclusive interview, which took place in October at the white house, Obama spoke honestly about his mistakes, wins and having the secret service watch over his eldest daughter’s crushes.
Once of the subjects he touched on was his daughters. According to Obama,
so far no young men have come through the white house but he adds that
he has "seen some folks glancing at her in ways that made me not happy."
He also talked briefly about his opinion on the
buzz around presidential hopeful, Donald Trump; "I would've enjoyed
campaigning against Trump. That would've been fun."
As
his tenure comes to an end, the interview serves as a very interesting
and insightful piece that shows president Barack Obama in a way you’ve
never seen him before.
