A 25-year-old man has died after jumping into a reservoir while attempting to collect a ball. The
man is believed to have got into difficulty after diving in to the
Middle Pool at Fens Nature Reserve in Dudley, West Midlands UK, at around
6.15pm last night, with eyewitnesses claiming he was attempting to
collect a football. West
Midlands Police said bystanders battled to save his life at the scene
and the man was taken to hospital, where he later died.
