Mum finds deadly erection-giving spider's eggs in her bananas

A terrified mum found a nest of unhatched eggs from the world's deadliest spider and now she's scared her home may be infested. Samantha Frampton, 24, opened the fruit and saw evidence of the Brazilian Wandering Spider whose deadly venom not only kills but can give men a four-hour erection.

The bananas had been imported from Columbia where they had picked up a cocoon of eggs from the lethal arachnid.

Samantha quickly wrapped the bananas in a plastic bag and left them outside, but is now living in fear that her house may be infested.

The Brazilian Wandering Spider's venom is currently being studied for use in erectile dysfunction treatments as it can give male victims a painful four-hour erection.
